Authoring in AEM Guides

Provided by the DITA experts at Scriptorium, this course gives you a hands-on introduction to authoring structured content in the AEM Guides component content management system (CCMS). You’ll learn how to navigate the AEM Guides interface, including working with DITA files, creating and editing topics, and creating maps. The course also walks you through applying metadata, publishing, review workflows, and reuse. By the end, you’ll be ready to author efficient and scalable structured content in AEM Guides.

To follow along with the instructions and examples in this course, you need an AEM Guides license. This course does not provide access to AEM Guides.

All modules contain videos and assessments. Within a module, you must pass the assessment for each lesson to move forward to the next lesson. However, each module is independent from the others in the course, so you can take them in any order. Scriptorium recommends beginning with Module 1, especially if you are new to using AEM Guides.

Prerequisites: DITA 1.3 training or equivalent

Heretto CCMS training

Provided by the DITA experts at Scriptorium, this course offers a comprehensive introduction to the Heretto component content management system (CCMS). It will guide you through essential functionality from content authoring, organization, and reuse to administrative functions like publishing, version control, taxonomy, and metadata. You’ll learn how to work with DITA content in Heretto, generate various outputs, and implement efficient workflows.

To follow along with the instructions and examples in this course, you need a Heretto license. This course does not provide access to the Heretto CCMS.
